Probably the thing everyone's been waiting to see that isn't the races. Yes, this is 'how to build Ru'. Behold!

Shapeshifter Feats

Shapeshifting Neophyte [Background, Shapeshifting]
The basics of shapeshifting come more naturally to you than others.

Benefit: With one minute of concentration, you can change the color and general appearance of you hair, eyes and skin, make yourself appear up to three inches taller or shorter, and ten pounds thinner or fatter, and alter the basic shape of your features including creating or removing blemishes and scars. You do not need a disguise kit or equivalent to use the Disguise skill.

This ability does not alter your clothes in any way and does not change your race. If you become dazed, fall asleep or unconscious, you resume your natural form.

Special: Unlike other background feats, you can take this feat after first level.

Shapeshifting Adept [Shapeshifting]
Magic flows through you, sculpting your body to your will.

Prerequisites: Akua Affinity, Vitae Affinity

Benefit: As a full round action, you may spend two (2) spell points to assume the form of any Medium or Small humanoid. As part of this ability, you can alter the color and general appearance of your hair, eyes and skin, appear both fatter or thinner and shorter or taller within the confines of your assumed race, and alter the shape of your features such as adding or removing scars and tattoos.

If you are Medium sized, becoming Small grants you a +1 size bonus to AC, a +2 size bonus to Dexterity, a +4 size bonus to Stealth checks, and a -2 size penalty to Strength.

If you are Small sized, becoming Medium grants you a +2 size bonus to Strength, a -1 size penalty to AC, a -2 size penalty to Dexterity, and a -4 size penalty to Stealth.

You lose all movement speeds and senses (such as fly speed or low-light vision) you originally had and gain the movement speeds and senses of your assumed race.

While using this ability, you do not need a disguise kit to make Disguise checks, and gain a +5 magic bonus to Disguise checks made to impersonate a specific member of your chosen race.

While in a new shape, you regain one (1) fewer spell point then you would normally recover per hour. You may choose to end this effect at any time.

The effect lasts for 10 rounds, but can be extended by another 10 rounds by spending three (3) spell points at any time during the duration. If you become dazed, fall sleep or go unconscious, you resume you natural form.

In addition, you gain the Shapechanger subtype.

Special: You may now take [Shapeshifter] feats as bonus mage feats.

Size Shifter I [Shapeshifter]
The manipulation of vox has led to you gaining the power to add or remove mass from your altered forms.

Prerequisites: Shapeshifting Adept OR Animal Shape Adept, Vox Affinity, character level 5th

Benefit: When you change shape using an ability granted by a Shapeshifting feat, you can assume Tiny or Large forms of any type you are able to assume.

If you are Medium sized and become Large, you gain a +2 size bonus to Strength, 10 temporary hit points, a -2 size penalty to AC, a -2 size penalty to Dexterity, and a -4 size penalty to Stealth.

If you are Medium sized and become Tiny, you gain a +4 size bonus to Dexterity, a +2 size bonus to AC, a +8 size bonus to Stealth, and a -4 size penalty to Strength.

If you are Small sized and become Large, you gain a +4 size bonus to Strength, 10 temporary hit points, a -2 size penalty to AC, a -4 size penalty to Dexterity, and a -8 size penalty to Stealth.

If you are Small sized and become Tiny, you gain a +2 size bonus to Dexterity, a +1 size bonus to AC, a +4 size bonus to Stealth, and a -2 size penalty to Strength.

While Large or Tiny size, you regain one (1) fewer spell point than you would normally recover per hour.

Bestial Aspect Adept [Shapeshifting]
By studying animals, you learn how alter your form to move and fight like them.

Prerequisites: Shapeshitfing Adept OR Shapeshifting Neophyte, Knowledge (Nature) 5 ranks

Benefit: As a full round action, you may spend two (2) spell points to gain one of the following abilities: claw 1d3, bite 1d4, slam 1d6, tail slap 1d6, climb 10, swim 20, low-light vision 120ft, or +1 natural armor bonus to AC. For each size category larger than Medium your current form is, increase the listed damage 1 step. For each size category smaller than Medium your current form is, decrease the listed damage 1 step (minimum 1 damage).

Using this ability does not end other effects granted by Shapeshifting feats, but imposes a -20 penalty to Disguise rolls made to impersonate a specific target if they do not have similar abilities to those granted (eg: growing a tail capable of delivering a tail slap makes it very difficult to impersonate an elf, but not a dragonsired).

You may only gain one ability from this effect at a time. While the effect is active, you regain one (1) fewer spell point than you would normally recover per hour. You may dismiss this effect at any time.

This effect lasts 10 rounds, but can be extended by 2 rounds by spending two (2) spell points at any time during the duration. If you become dazed, fall sleep or go unconscious, you resume you natural form.

Special: Druids and Clerics of Sylph Reborn can take this feat without meeting the prerequisites.

Beast Shape Adept [Shapeshifter]
Nature's beauty and savagery already reside within you; it's time to let them out.

Prerequisites: Akua Affinity, Vitae Affinity, Bestial Aspect Adept, Knowledge (Nature) 5 ranks

Benefit: As a full round action, you may spend three (three) spell points to assume the form of any creature of the Beast type of size Medium or Small that you have seen or interacted with.

While in this form, you lose all natural attacks, movements speeds and senses you haves (eg: claws, climb speed, or Scent) and gain those of the assumed form. If the assumed form has any of the following special attacks, you gain those as well: constrict, grab, pounce, rake, trample, trip, You do not gain the ability to produce poison, acid or other secretions of the assumed form. You cannot cast spells that require verbal or somatic components in this form unless the assumed form can naturally speak or make humanoid gestures.

While in animal form, you can alter the color and general appearance of your eyes, hair, skin, fur, scales, etc, make yourself appear fatter, thinner, shorter, taller, or longer than the average member of that species, and alter the basic structure of your new shape, such as muzzle size and tail length.

You gain a +5 magic bonus to Disguise rolls made to impersonate a normal animal of the form you've assumed and do not need a disguise kit or an equivalent to make Disguise rolls.

Using this ability ends the effects granted by other Shapeshifting feats. While this effect is active, you regain 2 fewer spell points than you would normally recover per hour. You may choose to end this effect at any time.

This effect lasts 1 round per character level, but can be extended by 2 rounds by spending three (3) spell points at any time during the duration. If you become dazed, fall sleep or go unconscious, you resume you natural form.

Special: Druids and clerics of Sylph Reborn may take this feat without meeting the prerequisites.

Shapeshifter Heartiness [Shapeshifting]
The ability to reshape ones body comes with the ability to sooth hurts and seal wounds.

Prerequisites: Any one Shapeshifter feat, Vox Affinity, Character level 5

Benefit: Once per combat, when you use an ability granted by a Shapeshifting feat, you heal 1 hit point per character level. If this amount is greater than your lost HP, you gain the remainder as bonus temporary hit points.

Special: You may take this feat multiple times. Each time you do, you gain one additional use of this ability per combat.

Weaponshifter [Shapeshifting]
Sculpting the flesh allows for infinite martial variation.

Prerequisites: Shapeshifting Adept OR Shapeshifting Neophite, character level 5th

Benefit: As a full round action, you may spent three (3) spell points to transform one of your limbs into a biological copy of a melee weapon you are proficient with sized for your current form. You may treat this weapon as a weapon of its type or an unarmed strike, whichever is more advantageous for the purposes of feats, techniques, etc.

Using this ability does not end other effects granted by Shapeshifting feats, but imposes a -20 penalty to Disguise rolls made to impersonate a specific target. While the effect is active, you regain one (1) fewer spell point than you would normally recover per hour. You may dismiss this effect at any time.

This effect lasts 1 round per character level, but can be extended by 2 rounds by spending two (2) spell points at any time during the duration. If you become dazed, fall sleep or go unconscious, you resume you natural form.
