[BETA] 1st Tier Vox Spells

Move Object lvl. 1 Array
[Vox, Telekinesis]

Invisible skeins of force draw the something toward you or push it away.
SP: 3
Components: V, S
Casting Time: Move-Equivalent Action
Range: Close (25ft +5ft per 2 caster levels)
Saving Throw: Fortitude Negates (see text)

When you cast this spell, target an unattended object weighing no more than 5 pounds per caster level. Reposition the target up to 10ft +5ft per 2 caster levels. At no point during this movement can you move the target through an occupied square, or out of the spell's range and the target must always remain in contact with the ground.

Affinity Bonuses

Vin – You may raise the object 5ft off the ground. Doing so counts as 5ft of movement for the purposes of repositioning.

Akua – You may use the spell as a scoop, moving an equivalent amount of fine or smaller objects or particulate substances such as sand or dust.

Motive Force lvl. 1 Array
[Vox, Animation]

The power of motion fills the target, spurring it to animation.
SP: 3
Components: V, S
Casting Time: Standard Action
Range: Touch
Duration: 1 round per level

You touch an unattended object weighing no more than 5lbs per caster level and command it to do one of the following:

Move: The object begins moving along the ground or other flat surface in a direction of your choice with a speed of up to 5ft +5ft per 3 caster levels. It attempts to break through obstacles in its way or resist being forcibly stopped with a bonus to it STR check equal to 1/2 your caster level.

Rotate: The object rotates in place around an axis of your choice. If attached to a simple machine such as a pulley or axle, it can lift or drag as if it had a Strength score equal to 10 +1/2 your caster level.

Oscillate: The object moves back and forth over a distance of your choosing with a speed of up to 5ft +5ft per 3 caster levels. It attempts to break through obstacles in its way or resist being forcibly stopped with a bonus to it STR check equal to 1/2 your caster level.

If the object in question is part of a larger mechanism, such as a wagon's axle, it may, at the DM's discretion, move the entire mechanism. For example, casting motive force on a wagon's axle to make it turn may cause the wagon to start rolling if the caster level is high enough to grant it a sufficient STR score.

Detect Magic lvl. 1 Array
[Vox]

An invisible, intangible web of vox spreads out over the area, transmitting to the caster information about the energies being manipulated there.

Components: None
Casting Time: Minor Action
Range: Close (25ft +5ft per 2 caster levels)
Duration: 1 minute per level

At any time during the duration of this spell, the caster can take any of the following actions:

Detect Presence of Magic: As a minor action, the caster can observe an object, square or creature and become aware of whether or not a spell or magical effect with a non-instantaneous duration is targeting them. If the target is an object, the spell also indicates whether the object itself is magical. If the target is a square, the spell indicates if spell covers an area that includes the square or if it is confined to that square. If the target is a creature, the spell indicates whether they are carrying magical items.

Mystic Scan: As a minor action, the caster can observe an object, square or creature previously targeted with detect presence of magic and determine the energies involved in spells targeting them. Discarnate or divine spells return a null result for type of energy.

Analyze Spellwork: As a minor action, the caster can observe an object, square or creature previously targeted by mystic scan and make a Spellcraft roll for every magical effect (DC 15 + Spell Level) targeting it. Success identifies the spell, effect, or magical property, most powerful first. Divine spells and effect require a Knowledge (Religion) roll instead, and Discarnate spells and effects require a Use Magic Device roll instead.

Magic-Scattering Ward lvl. 1 Array
[Vox, Ward]

A circle of protection weakens all spells attempting to enter it.
SP: 3
Components: V, S
Casting Time: Full Round Action
Range: Self
Duration: Concentration + 2 rounds.

This spell creates a zone that includes your square and all squares within 10ft of you at the time you cast the spell. Any spell targeting an object or creature for whom that spell's line of effect much past through the zone to target suffers a penalty to its Spell DC equal to 2 + 1 per 4 caster levels vs such objects and creatures.

At 9th level, the caster may choose to waive this penalty for one spell per turn. At 18th level, the caster may waive this penalty for any spell.

Plane of Force lvl. 1 Array
[Vox, Conjuration, Force]

The power of the void is also the power of Force. Even minor vox magi can conjure small force constructs to serve their various needs.

Casting Time: Move-Equivalent Action
Range: Close (25ft +5ft per 2 caster levels)
Duration: Concentration + 2 rounds

You conjure into being a plane of force in any shape, but no larger than three feet in diameter. This plane can be manipulated to perform several tasks. Each round, the caster can use their actions to alter the mode of operation the plane follows from among the following:

Shield: As a minor action, the caster can cause the plane of force to interpose itself between themselves and their enemies. The spell provides a +4 shield bonus to AC until the start of the caster's next turn or until the caster changes the plane's function.

Mantle: As a minor action, the caster can wrap themselves in the plane of force, protecting themselves from attacks. The spell provides a +4 armor bonus to AC until the caster's next turn or until the caster changes the plane's function.

Platform: As a minor action, the caster can form the plane into a flat or concave platform capable of supporting up to ten pounds of weight plus five pounds per level. While carrying this weight, the platform can be moved to any square within range as a minor action. Without any special containers, the platform can hold up to ten gallons of liquid. If the caster changes the function of the plane, items carried on the platform are dumped onto the ground from whatever height the platform previously occupied.

Razor: As a standard action, the caster can send the plane to attack any enemy within the range of the spell. The caster may make a ranged attack against the target, dealing 2d6 + CHA + 1 per caster level slashing damage to the target. This attack threatens a critical hit on a 19 or 20.

Obstacle: As a standard action, the caster can place the plane in an unoccupied square within range. Creatures cannot move through the targeted square. The obstacle remains in place until the caster changes the function of the plane.

A caster below 9th level cannot have more than one plane of force active at a time. At 9th level, a caster can have up to two planes of force active at a time. At 18th level, a caster can have up to three planes of force active at a time.

Spell Breaker, Least lvl. 1 Array
[Vox, Dispelling]

The least spell breaker is a crude mystic blade designed to attempt to cut through the energies that form spells.
SP: 3
Components: V
Casting Time: Standard Action or Reaction
Range: Close (25ft +5ft per caster level)

You may cast this spell targeting any spell effect within range with a duration less than permanent, or spell being cast within range.

Make a Spellcraft check at a -5 against the Spellcraft check of the caster of the spell. If you succeed, the spell ends as if its duration ended, or the spell being cast is negated.

My 6th post. We'll see if it goes thru without being moderated. Edit: it did!

There were no corrections here (since you decided to switch to 'minor' rather than 'swift' actions) but it was mentioned that you might write up a Dispelling keyword to cover all the details of how Spell Breaker & similar spells would work.

Woo! the System works!

Yeah, I need to write up all the keywords and conditions. Dispelling, Shapeshiting, Emotion, Alteration, soaked, etc. Plus the action economy. It's a bit different from 4e now because you can spend your movement between actions and attacks.
